Trouble on Tatooine: Cantina Encounter
The Mos Eisley cantina attracts trouble like a Jawa attracts flies. As Han Solo and Chewbacca negotiate a transport deal with Obi-Wan Kenobi, the bounty hunter Greedo confronts Solo and discovers too late that some encounters can be fatal. Then outside the cantina, the Imperial spy Garindan tells sandtroopers where they can find the droids they’re seeking, causing Solo to make a quick exit from Docking Bay 94.

Trouble on Tatooine: Sandtroopers
Darth Vader sends sandtroopers to the planet Tatooine to retrieve the droids that escaped from the Rebel blockade runner. The sandtroopers track the droids through the desert and punish all who have come in contact with them, including the Jawas who found the droids and Luke’s aunt and uncle who bought them. But the sandtroopers ultimately lose their quarry when the droids escape aboard the Millennium Falcon.

Trouble on Tatooine: Tusken Raiders
These rag-clad savages of the Jundland Wastes never need a reason to attack. Also called Sand People, the Tusken Raiders use bladed gaderffii clubs with brutal skill and have a deadly aim with their long-barreled slugthrower rifles. Just after Luke Skywalker and C-3P0 find R2-D2, they are attacked by Tusken Raiders. Fortunately, the reclusive hermit “Ben” Kenobi arrives and rescues them from the fierce nomads.

Trouble on Tatooine: Jawas & Droids
The cloaked Jawas scour Tatooine in their huge sandcrawlers, looking for discarded droids and other abandoned technology to repair and resell. After finding C-3PO and R2-D2 in the desert and de-activating them with ionization blasters, the Jawas show Owen Lars a selection of droids including an old R1 series droid called R1-G4 and the malfunctioning R5-D4, whose blown motivator causes Lars to choose R2-D2 instead.

Rebel troopers aboard the Tantive IV, a Blockade Runner used by Princess Leia, heroically resist the Imperial stormtroopers who are attempting to board the Alliance vessel. The corridor is ablaze with blaster fire as Rebels and the Imperial troopers battle fiercely in the narrow passageway. Despite their bravery, the Rebels soon are forced to fall back as the stormtroopers gain control of the ship.


Battle for Tantive IV: Stormtrooper Boarding Party
Stormtroopers from the Imperial Star Destroyer Devastator blast their way onto the Rebel Blockade Runner Tantive IV. The Imperial troopers meet fierce resistance from the Rebels who are determined to stop them from taking the ship. As the Empire’s elite shock troops, the stormtroopers are highly trained and heavily armed, and soon capture or eliminate the Rebel forces, clearing the way for Darth Vader to come aboard.


Trouble on Tatooine: The Streets of Mos Eisley
The Rebellion crashes down on the remote world of Tatooine, bringing danger and death to those who dwell there. The droids R2-D2 and C-3PO land on the desert planet after the vessel they are on is boarded by the Empire. As R2 begins his search for Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi, he brings trouble for the Jawas who capture him and the Skywalker family who buys him.

Princess Leia's antiquated Tantive IV saw much action during her early involvement with the Rebel Alliance, as she often bypassed Imperial blockades on "mercy missions" that were as often as not Rebel supply runs. When the plans for the Death Star were transmitted to the ship, however, Darth Vader did not hesitate to run it down and capture it, along with Leia.
