Get behind Captain America's Golden Age shield!

Avengers Assemble! Marvel Comics may have begun with the Fantastic Four in 1961, but Captain America was fighting for justice two decades before that! Joe Simon and Jack Kirby created the star-spangled Avenger in 1941 for Timely Comics and launched him on the battlefields of World War II. Once the Marvel Universe was a hit in the 1960s, Stan Lee and Jack Kirby decided to bring him back in Avengers #4. The result? Cap hit all new heights of popularity that continue to this day.

Master Replicas commemorates the early adventures of Steve Rogers with the new Golden Age Shield. Jack Kirby's first design was radically different from the later circular shield and this die cast replica captures that original look perfectly.

The 1/6 scale shield looks like it come from those vintage comics, from its diamond points to the three stars adorning the top banner. It comes complete with resin handles, stands at 5 1/2 inches tall and 3 1/2 wide and includes a custom display base. It's a look as timeless as Captain America himself.
