It was originally constructed with Edmonton's Sheldon Souray and Ottawa's Ray Emery, alongside native Canadians Joe Sakic and Jordan Staal. Then Todd decided to expand the NHL lineups back to six players, and gives a salute to Quebec in this lineup; offering Mats Sundin and Guy Lafleur in their Nordiques uniforms.

Toronto's Jason Blake, Pittsburgh's Evgeni Malkin, Washington's Alexander Ovechkin 2 and Buffalo's Ryan Miller show off the "new look" of the NHL, while Trevor Linden is wearing the black Vancouver jersey from their Finals run of 1994, and Joe Sakic salutes his hockey roots with a retro Quebec Nordiques jersey.
